Moving on from China we ventured into Hong Kong at one of the hights of the 2019 riots. It was a dark feeling seeing the remains of the struggle. There were bricks linings the streets that were ripped from the sidewalks, shattered glass everywhere, and molotov cocktails. Represented in my painting is the grafitti written on the wall next to our hotel.
