Michigan is such a beautiful place any time of year but in the winter it really comes alive with the snows and the winter storms that blow in. A few years ago I was lucky enough and unfortunate enough to be home for the “polar vortex” that swept through the area, with the storm came incredible frozen waves and ice that flooded the pier. This winter going home was a little more subdued and quite with no crazy weather other than one small ice storm. Here are some pictures of the beautiful pier on a lovely winter night.
